Everyday I drive Sophie to school, I have a mile stretch that is the perfect distance to stare straight at the Wasatch Mountain range. Today, the mountains were breathtaking and I simply couldn't get enough of "basking in their beauty." While listening to Sophie read to me, I just kept staring at the way the sun was rising, the mist, the way the light enhanced the colors, and the various sections on the entrance to Little Cottonwood Canyon which were stark white from the sunlight and sparkling from the rain last night. It just couldn't have been more spectacular. The mountains feel like home to me and I am glad to enjoy them.
